We’re delighted to announce the short term signing of Mia Cruickshank from Barclays Women’s Super League side West Ham United.
The young defender joins up with Lee Burch’s side, to add more youthful quality to the Bees ranks. The full-back will look to gain experience during her time at The Hive London and gives Burch additional depth in a department that was previously light in bodies.
Cruickshank has also spent time with Super League side Reading and is one of the most highly-rated youth players amongst the Women’s top flight.
Speaking about his latest signing, Lee Burch said:
“It’s great to firstly welcome such a talented young player to the Club and my thanks goes to West Ham United for their support in the agreement. Mia is an outstanding talent and she adds plenty of quality to our existing group who are all finding some really good form. We thought it was vital to have another left footed player at the Club and Mia adds depth to our squad.
“I am immensely proud of our record in player young players in our squad and I am sure Mia will get plenty of opportunities to show her quality during the remainder of the season.”
Mia will wear the number 33 during her time with the Club and we would like to wish her a warm welcome to The Hive London.
