The Club are delighted to see London Bees Academy graduates Mathilda Finburgh and Faye Hazelton continue with us into the new season, following their breakthroughs in the 2019/20 campaign. They will also be joined by exciting young academy prospect Millie Constantine who makes the step up to the senior squad. Millie has impressed in pre-season and we look forward to helping her develop further in the new season.

Bees Head Coach Lee Burch said “The reduced budget due to COVID is probably going to hit quite a few clubs so we had to work within our means, making sure we retained the players we had last year and that was really key. We’re really pleased with the players that we have at the Club, they all performed really well last year and I am confident they’ll kick on.

“We got a few new faces coming in, obviously with the budget cuts that has been difficult this season. It’s important those who come through the door are the right faces and fit into the group. We’re really pleased with how that has gone and those who are joining us will be great additions to the squad”

After over six years with us we say goodbye to Bees legend Taylor O’Leary. Taylor has always been a huge character both on and off the pitch, everyone at the Club would like to thank her for her immense contribution to the Bees. Taylor made 39 appearances in a Bees shirt, with her last goal coming in our 2-1 win over Coventry United last September. She will remain a huge part of the Bees family and we all wish her well for the future.

Connie Forman also departs after three seasons with the Club, during her time with the Bees she made 16 appearances and scored a crucial goal in our Conti Cup victory against Tottenham Hotspur in 2018. We would like to thank Connie for her service to the Club and wish her all the best for the future.

Throughout the course of the 2019/20 season, Lucy Loomes, Megen Lynch, and Rosie Kmita left the Club, we wish them well for their future careers. As previously announced Ellie Wilson joined fellow Championship side Sheffield United this summer and we of course wish her well at her new Club.
