London Bees will host Tottenham Hotspur Women in a pre-season friendly at The Hive London. The game will take place on Sunday 11th August (2 pm Kick-Off) and will be our last friendly before we kick off our FA Women’s Championship campaign the following week as we welcome London City Lionesses to The Hive.
The visit of Tottenham Hotspur Women will give Lee Burch’s side an exciting test as they take on a side who were promoted to the WSL last season and have made numerous signings as they prepare for their inaugural season in the top flight.
Bees head coach Lee Burch is looking forward to playing against opposition from the top flight, he said “We are looking forward to welcoming Tottenham, they have strengthened well ahead of their WSL season. It is an excellent opportunity to test ourselves before our opening Championship fixture.”
