Bees midfielder Amelia Hazard has been called up to represent the England Lionesses WU21 in the upcoming international break.
The midfielder will join up the national squad tomorrow (3rd March) as they take on France in back to back internationals this week. Rehanne Skinner’s squad play matches on Thursday and Sunday before the players head back to their Club’s the following day.
Hazard has had an impressive first season with the Bees scoring on four occasions already this term.
Head Coach Lee Burch was full of praise for his creative midfielder and feels Hazard fully deserves to show her talents on the international stage.
He said: “I’m really pleased for Amelia, she has had an excellent season so far and really deserves the call-up.
“She has impacted really well on our season scoring and assisting some important goals and we have enjoyed working with her throughout the season.”
