Summary:

Having finished last season in 9th place in the FA Women’s Championship, The Rookettes will be looking to improve on their previous campaign and push further up the table. With their most notable wins coming against Crystal Palace and Leicester City Women at the beginning of last season, including a thrilling 4-3 victory at home against the foxes. Lewes will be hopeful to finish the upcoming season better than the last, and have made a statement of intent thanks to the new signing of Wales international Rhian Cleverly.

We’ve Met Before:

The Bees faced Lewes twice last season, winning both games 3-2 at home in October 2018 and 2-0 away in January 2019 respectively. The confidence at The Hive is running high ahead of this season, and new manager Lee Burch will be looking to continue the Bees impressive record against the Rookettes. One thing is for certain, all supporters will be viewing a great contest when the teams battle it out again this season.
